This article tries to review the thought and speculative system of Farah Anton through Discourse Analysis theory of Fairclough. This research claims that the text of the book Ibn Rush and His Philosophy is under the influence of its author’s though. This text reflects the ideology of a secular intellectual which tries to promote the Western thought in world of Islam through introducing a philosopher with new thoughts which have been approved by new Western civilization. The text tries to contend with the methods of the era and tradition as a dominant power. Anton in this text tries to produce a thought that influenced by Western thought which reflects the intellectual thought of his era. This text questioned the dominant power of tradition while itself is reproducing the Western thought and at the same time is influenced by the context which this discourse act had been produced.
