The amalgamation of ancient Iran traditions with symbolic elements or enigmatic terms is one of the obstacles of researchers who study and research about the ceremonies and traditions of ancient Iran. This issue which is known as the characteristics of ancient Iran religions has been emerged in the Ayyaran rite. This article tries to study the enigmatic influence of ancient Iran tradition on the Ayyarid rites. Therefore the history of Ayyari in ancient Iran and the trifunction of gods in the Indo-European tradition which is the base of Georges Dumézil’ theory have been compared with the trinary stages of initiation in Ayyari rite during Islamic period and the prominent role of the number three in the rites of Fotowwat in order to clarify their relation and coalition with the ancient Iran culture.
